autoevolution 29 Jan 2021, 8:36 UTC · by 25 photos Such discoveries don’t always come with good news, especially since cars abandoned for years away from the light of day aren’t stored in proper conditions. But here’s an exception, as this ’71 Mustang looks pretty good, so hats off to whoever knew how to preserve an icon correctly. While not many specifics have been provided as to where and for how long it’s been stored, the Mustang is said to come with the original drivetrain, so we’re still getting the 351 engine paired with a 4-speed transmission. They both work correctly, and eBay seller wiawsnb says you can also take it for a spin because, yes, the Mustang runs, drives, and stops perfectly. ....
1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback Is a 7k-Mile Deja Vu in Grabber Blue 15 Jan 2021, 14:26 UTC · by , and soon we’ll be able to share some of the spectacular highlights that surpassed expectations. Thanks to our Ford Month feature, the seemingly never-ending periplus in search of the next great Blue Oval has now taken us to a very interesting representative. It s an integral part of the Steve Todhunter Collection that’s going to hit the red carpet at the company s Glendale event in March. And when we say an appealing member, we literally mean that. Checking out the collection s roster for Mecum’s upcoming auction reveals it s chock-full of red cars – many of them of the Prancing Horse variety. Granted, we spotted some oddities among them, but those will have to wait their turn to share the story. ....

They ve all got their own special thing going on, but for now, let s have a look at this 2013 Boss 302. 1 photo The Mustang will be turning 60 years old soon, and over the years it has gone through various shapes and sizes, and most recently the name has even been attached to an electric vehicle. Before all gasoline engines get banned on a global scale, let s just be happy about the multiple reincarnations we ve had access to so far. ....
autoevolution 8 Jan 2021, 13:27 UTC · by 24 photos You’re not having a déjà vu because this Candy Apple Red 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 isn’t the exact same one that sold at a Bonhams auction back in October of 2020 for no less than $346,000. The unit seen there was decidedly one with very low mileage – clocking in on the odometer a mere 3,404 miles (5,478 kilometers) by the time it was snatched off the auction lot. This Candy Apple Red 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, on the other hand, is a bit more affordable, if one is allowed to play with that word when Earth MotorCars is asking no less than $286k. That’s because it has seen a bit more travels in its lifetime, as the count reads a total of 46,773 miles (75,273 km). ....
Rare-Spec 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Is a Texas Racer, Once Blew Its Engine 8 Jan 2021, 11:03 UTC · by No matter how you look at them, all early versions of the Mustang have something special about them. This is why so many of them are still around, repeatedly selling for ever-increasing sums. In the case of this one here, the something special translates into the rare spec, but also some drag racing history. 4 photos Born in 1970 as a W-code Mustang of the Boss 302 variety, the car wears both the original paint and the native interior specification. There were a bit over 7,000 302s made back then, but just 575 or so had the Calypso Coral paint sprayed over the body. Of them, fewer still (78 as we’re told) matched that with a Vermilion Red interior. This one has them both. ....
