Suspension of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is expected to have minimal impact in Guernsey and Noble counties according to local health officials.
Neither health department has received the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine since initial shipments of 300 and 200 doses, respectively, several weeks ago. While we received 300 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine during the early release, we don t expect to receive any more doses at this time, said Rose Ball, administrator at the Cambridge-Guernsey County Health Department. I don t believe there will be any impact in Noble County, added Noble County Health Commissioner Shawn Ray. The initial shipment of 200 doses is all the state has given us.
