Suspension of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is expected to have minimal impact in Guernsey and Noble counties according to local health officials.
Neither health department has received the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine since initial shipments of 300 and 200 doses, respectively, several weeks ago.
"While we received 300 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine during the early release, we don't expect to receive any more doses at this time," said Rose Ball, administrator at the Cambridge-Guernsey County Health Department.
"I don't believe there will be any impact in Noble County," added Noble County Health Commissioner Shawn Ray. "The initial shipment of 200 doses is all the state has given us."
