Bears get cold feet at Stanford Dual Invitational

After a less-than-ideal performance at the Winter Classic in Arizona last week, the blue and gold started off cold at the Stanford Dual Invitational, going down 14 strokes in the morning round against Stanford and San Jose State to finish last in the tournament. Not appearing rusty despite their 373 days away from competition due to COVID-19, the Cardinal was able to secure a victory with +23-to-par and a combined stroke score of 59. This mark was 14 strokes better than Cal’s. Ultimately, the Bears were left to head back home with yet another disappointing performance. ....

DELAWARE, OHIO – Ohio Wesleyan University students will complete projects in structural biology, data analytics, golden age Spanish theater, video game psychology, and more using $15,500 in newly awarded, university-funded Theory-to-Practice Grants.
The grants are part of Ohio Wesleyan’s signature program, The OWU Connection. The unique program is designed to help students think big (understand issues from multiple academic disciplines), go global (gain international perspective), and get real (translate classroom knowledge into real-world experience).
Those earning fall 2020 Ohio Wesleyan Theory-to-Practice Grants and their projects are:
“Structural Biology: A Tool for Studying Modern Medicinal Practices,” submitted by
