NEW CANAAN Voters from all three districts in town will cast ballots at the New Canaan High School this afternoon for the first referendum on a Board of Education budget in nearly 30 years.
District voters will cast their ballots in the New Canaan High School auxiliary gym, from noon to 8 p.m, unless they have opted to vote absentee. Absentee ballots may be left off at the ballot box in front of Town Hall or in the Town Clerk’s office by 8 p.m. It is too late to submit applications for an absentee ballot. ....

The first referendum on the Board of Education budget in nearly 30 years is being set for Wednesday, June 2.
Voters from all districts will cast their ballots in the New Canaan High School auxiliary gym, from noon to 8 p.m, unless they opt to vote absentee.
Absentee ballots may be left off at the ballot box in front of Town Hall, after Gov. Ned Lamont signed an executive order on Thursday, May 20, stating that COVID-19 can be cited as a reason for absentee voting until June 30. Applications for the absentee ballots may be picked up by family members and caregivers at Town Hall. ....
