6.0-magnitude earthquake shakes Guwahati, Assam, India

April 28 A 6.0 magnitude earthquake occurred 6 miles north-northwest of Dhekiajuli, India, early Wednesday, shaking portions of the northeast, including Guwahati, Assam.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre originally labeled the quake magnitude as 6.2, but has since changed it to a 6.1 magnitude.
The U.S. Geological Survey rated the quake with a magnitude of 6.0.
India s National Center for Seismology labeled the earthquake as a magnitude 6.4.
After the quake, at least one aftershock occurred with a magnitude of 4.9, though the EMSC identified two other aftershocks at 4.0 and 3.6.
Part of a large, rocky hill called Bhairabkunda in the Udalguri district in Assam broke away and crashed to the ground, according to The Hindu.

Streaming services, like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime, also saw massive surges in the number of people who watched shows on their platforms, with 75% of people reporting that they were streaming more content than ever before.
