Yesterday we revealed a list of more than 100 schools that mums, dads and grandparents said had gone above and beyond to support pupils and families. We knew plenty more were worthy of similar praise and after asking parents to share the details, we ve been inundated with hundreds of comments. ....

As executive headteacher Chris Hanson praised families and staff at Corpus Christi RC Primary in Chadderton, Oldham, for pulling together amid the pandemic, we asked parents to tell us who they wanted to thank - and we were inundated with suggestions. ....

Its ethos is quite different from other schools and we are excited that we have found a trust that shares the values and attitudes we have. The aim is to provide and support all our children to reach their full potential and we look forward to working in partnership with the trust to achieve the best educational environment possible.” Rebekah Iiyambo, chief executive of the Eko Trust, said she has high hopes for the school, while the trust is also looking to expand further into Suffolk. ....
