LeBourdais AUGUSTA – Marian L. LeBourdais, 84, of Augusta died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Augusta Rehabilitation after a long illness. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. She was born in Gardiner on Nov 4, 1936, the daughter of Harold and Marian (Gordon) Shaw. She graduated from Hall-Dale High School in 1955 and studied Business at Community College. She worked for CMP for many years and was most proud of her work with computers and teaching. She raised two sons with her husband of 54 years, George A. LeBourdais, primarily in Hallowell in the same area she grew up in on Granite Hill. They enjoyed many years of camping at The Birches. They retired to Zephyrhills, Fla. in 1996. She moved back to Maine in 2012 shortly after George’s death.

He was a member of the MVC Championship track team, where he set the school record in pole vault. He has also been a part of MVC Championship soccer and basketball teams. He captained all three sports, and was also an integral and supportive member of the Unified Basketball Team.
