Apr 24, 2021 IRONDALE Judy Ann Orr, 65, of Irondale, Ohio passed away at her home Wednesday, April 21, 2021 following a lengthy illness. Judy was born on May 13, 1955, the daughter of the late William and Betty (Hayhurst) Rice. Judy was a graduate of Stanton High School with the Class of 1979 and lived her entire life in the area. She was employed through Trinity Hospital, working positions in housekeeping and the mailroom. She also spent time volunteering with the Hammondsville Food Pantry as well as serving as a Deacon and Elder at Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church in Wellsville. Judy married the love of her life, William Thomas Orr, on September 19, 1989 and spent the next 32 years making special memories with him. ....

Jan 12, 2021 WELLSVILLE Harry Smith, 69, of Wellsville, Ohio, passed away on January 6, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Harry was born on August 8, 1951 in East Liverpool the son of the late Harry W. and Ida M. McWilliams Smith. He graduated from Wellsville High School. Harry was inducted into the U.S. Army in March of 1971, and served until March 1974. Harry worked as a Mold Maker for Yellow Creek Casting. Survivors include: three sisters: Alma Martin, of Irondale, Mary Galaher, of Arkansas, and Carolyn Thomas, of Kentucky. A private family service will be held at CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists – MacLean Chapel 509 Riverside, Wellsville on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Blakeley from First Christian Church in Wellsville officiating. The Tri-State Burial Group will be present to accord full military honors. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery. ....
Daniel N. MacLean WELLSVILLE Daniel N. MacLean, 91, of Wellsville, passed away at Calcutta Health Care Center on Saturday, December 26, 2020, after a brief illness. The son of the late Donald N. “Cap” MacLean and Edith H. Taylor MacLean, Dan was born in Wellsville on December 8, 1929. He lived his entire life in Wellsville. Dan graduated from Wellsville High School in 1947. He then attended Kent State University before enrolling and graduating from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1951. A US Army veteran, having enlisted in 1951, Dan served his country for three years of which 14 months were in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He served with the Second Infantry Division 12th Field Artillery Battalion as a forward observer and fire direction specialist. He was awarded three bronze battle stars. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant prior to his honorable discharge in 1954. ....
