Maharashtra likely to postpone SSC, HSC Board exams
Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases across the state, Maharashtra Education Department is mulling over the postponement of the upcoming board exams. The education department officials are finalizing a plan for the upcoming board exams which includes a proposal to postpone it. The probability of board exams getting postponed is high as the cases of coronavirus in the state is increasing rapidly.
Maharashtra s school education minister Varsha Gaikwad told TOI, âI canât say anything at this moment but, yes, a final decision will be taken this week itself. I will meet with various stakeholders and see what their views are about exams. Then we will have to seek the consent from chief ministerâs office (CMO) as well regarding the final proposal.â

Maharashtra government has conducted a meeting attended by parents and teachers to ensure the safe conduct of Maharashtra Board Exams 2021 in offline mode. The parents, teacher representatives have agreed to work together for conducting SSC, HSC exams safely in the state amid rising COVID19 cases.
The state government further said that the safety and security of the students are of prime importance but so is their future. No stones will be left unturned to conduct the exams safe and stress-free.

Maharashtra government has launched the subject-wise doubt solution program for Maharashtra Board Exam 2021 candidates. The subject-wise doubt solution program is available for Class 10, 12 students by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra. The direct link for each subject along with time for SSC, HSC is available on the SCERT on maa.ac.in.
