The results are in and the long wait is over! We are thrilled to announce this year’s finalists for the MARKies Awards Singapore. For a fifth year, this awards is here to honour agency excellence for the most innovative, creative and effective campaigns spanning Singapore’s entire marketing services industry. Overall, this year s MARKies had 39 refreshed and new categories available for entry across two main segments - Creative Ideas and Media Usage. On top of the new categories such as Most Creative – Audio, Most Creative – Campaign Pivot, Most Creative – COVID-19 Response, Most Effective Use – Events (Physical / Virtual), Most Effective Use – Influencers / KOLs, we also introduced three talent categories, Best Account Manager, Best Art Director / Designer, Best Planner to recognise and reward outstanding talent in the industry. ....
13 Apr 2021 SINGAPORE, 13 April 2021 (Tuesday) – The Business Innovations Generator (BIG) Incubation Programme offered by the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) at the Singapore Management University (SMU) organised its first Brand Hackathon of 2021 at The Greenhouse, located at the SMU Connexion. (Please refer to Annex A for more information about the seven startups that participated in Brand Hackathon.) Held on 9 and 10 April 2021, the Brand Hackathon brought together business-to-consumer (B2C) startups and designers from the branding and creative industry in Singapore to co-create compelling brand stories, re-assess the startups’ marketing message and even packaging. MoneyOwl shifts gears from tactical marketing to brand building Details 19 February 2021 Local financial advisor MoneyOwl has unveiled its first brand campaign to create brand awareness. Although it has been doing tactical campaigns for its products since it started in 2019, MoneyOwl is now shifting gears and looking to build its brand with the everyday Singaporean consumer. MoneyOwl is a joint venture between NTUC Enterprise Co-operative and wealth advisory firm, Providend, that aims to help working-class people in Singapore to make wise financial decisions. It target audiences are split into three segments: single young professionals aged 24 to 30 and have just started their careers; young family starters aged 31 to 45 with ideally SG$10k to invest; and pre-retirees aged 45 to 65 who are focused on sustaining their lifestyle in their non-income earning years. ....
