The signs, which are in English, are located in additional parts of the park, but contain several rules in addition to just a no swimming notice including that the park is open dawn to dusk, feeding of ducks, geese and swans isn t allowed and more.
There are no signs about swimming, entering the water in general or about the depth of the water right near where two boys drowned on Saturday evening in Waldo Lake.

Two boys who drowned in a Massachusetts lake over the weekend were skipping rocks in shallow water when one of them fell and the other jumped in to try to rescue him, officials said.
Cousins Tiago Depina, 12, and Rafael Andrade, 13, were found dead after a frantic rescue effort Saturday night in Waldo Lake at D.W. Field Park, about 20 miles south of Boston. The boys did not know how to swim and no foul play is suspected, but local and state authorities are still investigating the incident, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said in a news release Sunday. ....

Two young cousins who did not know how to swim died following an incident at a Massachusetts lake in which one tried to save the other after he fell in, according to authorities.

Nearly $10,000 has been raised for the family of 13-year-old Rafael Andrande and 12-year-old Tiago Depina, cousins who tragically drowned in a lake in Brockton over the weekend.
The two boys died Saturday night. It appears Andrande and Depina were skipping rocks in a shallow part of Waldo Lake at D.W. Field Park when one of them slipped into a deeper portion of the water. The other tried to rescue him, but both went under the surface and drowned. They didn’t know how to swim, officials noted. ....
