A man previously convicted for his role as a conspirator in a 2001 Norwalk homicide will spend three more years in federal prison after he tried to traffic drugs while on supervised release, according to federal prosecutors.
Judge Stefan R. Underhill sentenced Anthony “AP” Patterson, 42, to 36 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
Patterson, also known as “Antonio,” pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute, and to possession with intent to distribute, cocaine on Nov. 19, 2020. ....

The five projects include a wide range of additions to further develop Bolwarra Lookout. Last fall, Norwalk artist Miller Opie won the Jacobson sculpture award at the Silvermine Art Center’s annual A-One show for a pair of pieces fashioned primarily from moose bone.
Yes, that’s right: moose, the antlered animal of northern forests.
Now, as a reward for winning the A-One prize, Opie has two more animal bone sculptures in Silvermine’s current new members’ show, running through March 13.
The smaller of the two, titled “Jete” after the ballet leap, also incorporates moose bone. This time, Opie has used a pair of surprisingly thin ribs. Set vertically and slightly bowed on a block of hemlock wood, the ribs suggest striding legs arrested in forward motion. ....
