So its a treat to be back at the state of the net conference and a special thank you to the Internet Education Foundation for having me and thank you for the good work you do to foster conversation about internet policy. Upfront i think i need a disclaimer. As a commissioner at the fcc speaking at the state of the net Conference Im going to defy some expeditions today. Im not going to t neutrality. I support Net Neutrality and i voted against last months decision to go back those rules and i made a ruckus and there is no shortage of place where you can read my heated and sometimes fiery take on what happens. But today instead of talking about the substance of Net Neutrality i want to use it as a launching pad and i want to go big and discuss policymaking in the internet era. I want to talk about some shortcomings in our Civic Infrastructure becaus

And voted that he wouldve voted for donald trump as you can imagine. If youre a mixed reaction. And, some people applauded many others booed. The general consensus was, i bought the ticket expecting you to sing. Alex savage was reporting and he said, the thing about five songs. Hes saying about five sang about five songs. Yes, youre hoping for 12 to 15. Youre going to fight against donald trump. I just want to hear the music. And im wondering if there is reaction a little different. And, and its
And we were trying to help with the stimulus bill. I remember standing on the floor, just looking at us losing tens of thousands of jobs a month and we wound up losing 8 million jobs. California was a mass. The real estate situation hit us. We were struggling. Families were distraught and im running for reelection in fee arena is blaming everything on me, even when it rains and shes blaming everything on me and its tight. He says hes have you seen her hair and he said it is so yesterday. And she starts laughing. Now the truth is about my hair, i have many bad hair days, but i thought that moment, everybody does. What is she doing . Its kind of an insult to everybody except if you are wealthy enough to have and are followed around every day and most of us do not.
