DIY has seen an increase in popularity over the last year due to us all having more time at home, so this week we asked Hexham Courant readers to tell us which stores were the best places to visit in the Tyne Valley. Arthur McGee DIY Prudhoe When we asked for your recommendations, one name that kept cropping up was Arthur McGee DIY in Prudhoe. Ruth Dance said the store has showed its class through lockdown, while Gillian Dickinson also praised them for keeping local residents supplied as well as them also offering a delivery service too.
