HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - In honor of International Womenâs Day, women leaders in Huntsville gathered together in the community to honor the 19th Amendment mural.
The Womenâs Business Council received a plaque for sponsoring the downtown mural honoring women. The mural was designed in remembrance of womenâs suffrage.
The Womenâs Economic Development Council, along with other community organizations, celebrated the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment with a community mural.

Female leaders across Huntsville gathered to celebrate the day.
