The complainant approached ACB three days prior (on Saturday). Incentives on offer to fight COVID cases Incentives on offer to fight COVID cases BySupriya DedgaonkarSupriya Dedgaonkar / Updated: Apr 26, 2021, 06:00 IST Parishad assures monetary gains to decrease positive numbers The Pune Zilla Parishad has started an initiative to extend monetary incentives to Gram panchayat members and volunteers in case of reduced positive cases of COVID-19 and zero deaths. The incentives are aimed at motivating these employees to do better and give their work recognition. There are around 17 members from every gram panchayat who are working towards bringing the positive cases in check and ensuring that there are no deaths. The incentive has been given on three levels, employees will be granted Rs.2,000 in case of 80% reduction in the number of active cases, Rs.1500 for 60-80% reduction in number of active cases and Rs.1,000 if there’s a dip in the cases by around 40-60%. New Delhi: Wipro’s Covid hospital, which was set up last year when the pandemic hit India, is providing healthcare facilities to thousands in need amid the second wave of Covid-19 that is proving to be deadlier than the first one. The 450-bed hospital set up on its campus at Hinjewadi in Pune is providing medical facilities to many in the district. Established with the help of Zilla Parishad, the hospital has 150 oxygenated, ten ventilated and other ICU beds. Notably, the hospital run by a company with no expertise in healthcare has successfully treated thousands of Covid-19 patients in the past year. According to a report by Economic Times, only five patients have succumbed to Covid-19 inside the hospital. So far, over 4700 patients have been admitted to the hospital run by 15 doctors and 70 nurses. ....
