Soul Circus Cowboys, a southern rock band led by Brandon native Billy McKnight, are scheduled to release a single in the coming months that they believe could work as a song promoting the Sunshine State to the rest of the country.

Little Ciaran holds back for New Year’s Day birth

A couple in South Lanarkshire welcomed 2021 along with a new arrival after their baby son was one of the first to be born in Scotland on New Year’s Day.
Ciaran Quinn was born at University Hospital Wishaw at 12.19am weighing 8lb 15oz on Friday.
Parents Lisa-Anne, 40, and Barry Quinn, 40, were expecting their baby to be born before Christmas but he decided to put in a late entrance on New Year’s Day instead.
