Pueblo School District 60 bond committee members resign


Six of the original members of the Pueblo School District 60 Citizens’ Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC), which was formed to monitor and report on D60’s bond projects as approved by Pueblo voters in 2019, resigned earlier this month on July 6.
In a resignation letter sent to D60 Board of Education President Taylor Voss and D60 Superintendent Charlotte Macaluso, committee members Ken Lane, Matthew Trujillo, Brittany Campbell, Mike Donnell, Todd Mihelich and Aaron Suazo cited as reason for their resignations opposing viewpoints on the committee’s purpose.
“As original members of the Pueblo School District 60 Citizens’ Bond Advisory Committee we believe that through our committee and our public efforts, we have added value to the bond expenditure process and provided accountability on behalf of the public, as we believe the creation of the advisory committee was intended to do,” the letter reads. ....
