Picktown Palooza changes location to PIckerington Central High School

PICKERINGTON - The annual Picktown Palooza will have a new location this year as it returns from a one-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival will be from July 15 through July 17 at Pickerington High School Central and Opportunity Way. The official address is 300 Opportunity Way. The main reason is just due to the growth of the event, Pangor Productions President Chris Stein said. We ve literally outgrown the area we ve been in since 2017. This new space is going to be just incredible with regards to the amount of space we have. The other great thing about it is all the parking is going to be onsite. Back where we ve been traditionally it was all offsite.

OhioHealth announces plans to expand Pickerington Medical Campus

ThisWeek group Local officials hailed OhioHealth s announced plans to expand its Pickerington Medical Campus as an impending boost to local health-care options and economic development.  OhioHealth announced Feb. 12 expansion plans for its Pickerington Medical Campus at 1010 Refugee Road later this year. According to OhioHealth, the expansion will be built on more than 30 acres at its OhioHealth Pickerington Medical Campus, which opened in June 2015. Pickerington Mayor Lee Gray said the news is great for residents, who will have increased local access to health-care services and hospital beds.  Additionally, he said, the project itself will yield significant economic development to the city and is expected to jump start other projects in the area.
