PANAMA CITY For the first time since Hurricane Michael, Bay County voters will be required to cast their ballots at assigned polling locations on Election Day, Tuesday. Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen said for that reason, voters need to take advantage of early voting, or take the time now to find out at what sites they have been assigned. Early voting ends on Friday. Unlike traditional voting sites, any registered voter in Bay County was allowed to use any of the super voting sites set up after the hurricane. Andersen noted that voters on Tuesday will be funneled through just 18 polling locations 26 fewer than the 44 available before the hurricane, which damaged or destroyed many polling places across the county when it hit in October 2018. ....
