RAWALPINDI: Due to the constant increase in Covid-19 cases, the Punjab government imposed a smart lockdown in 15 localities of Rawalpindi and issued fresh standard operating procedures (SOPs) on Monday.
The localities placed under the smart lockdown are: Dhoke Paracha, Sadiqabad, Afshan Colony, Misrial Road, Lala Zar, Tulsa Road, Gulraiz Colony, Azizabad, Allama Iqbal Colony, Dhoke Chaudharian Street 2 to 7, Mohallah Ameerpura Street 39, 36 and 24, Bahria Town Phase 8, Satellite Town Block A, Khayaban-i-Sir Syed, Lehtrar and Lala Rukh areas.
The government issued a notification under which the 15 localities were placed under a smart lockdown. Under the notification, the controlled entry and exit to the areas have been ordered. ....

The Punjab government has imposed smart lockdowns in 15 coronavirus hotspots amid a rise in coronavirus (Covid-19) cases to remain in place until March 23, a notification in this regard was issued on Monday.
Currently, 19 areas are now under smart lockdown during the third wave after four areas were declared hotspots last week. These areas include Dhok Paracha, Sadiqabad, Afshan Colony, Misrial Road, Lalazar Tulsa Road, Gulraiz Colony, Scheme No Five and CB 1,231 near Qasre Abu Talib in Azizabad, Street No 27 of Allama Iqbal Colony, Street No Two to Seven in Dhok Chaudhrian, Street No 24, 36 and 39 in Amarpura, Bahria Town Phase VIII, Satellite Town A Block, Khayaban-eSir Syed ....

The Rawalpindi KFC versus Foodpanda fight has taken another turn as a second FIR has been registered.
The initial showdown took place on the night of January 21 at the KFC outlet in Bahria Town Phase 7.
