A golden week for Nelson rowers despite delay


Nelson Rowing Club had a team of 20 attending the event and went into Saturday’s finals day with all rowers making either an A or B Final.
Luke Brady won gold in the Mens U/22 Single Sculls, a silver in the Mens U/22 Double Sculls and teamed up with a Bay of Plenty crew to win another silver in the Mens Premier Coxless Quad Sculls.
At the end of the regatta, he was named as a triallist for the NZ U/23 and winter training squads.
Another highlight was the women’s premier coxless quad sculls which combined for a silver medal winning performance. ....
