Testimony and safety protocols for testifying in person at the state Capitol: Members of the public and the lobby may submit written testimony on any bill from the time the bill is scheduled until the committee takes action on the bill. Remote testimony will also be available through the Colorado General Assembly website. Members of the public and the lobby are encouraged to participate remotely in lieu of testifying in person. Our goal is to increase public accessibility as much as possible while ensuring safety in the Capitol.

CHELMSFORD, MA The last day to register to vote in the local election, which will have at least two contested town wide races is March 17.

March 4 was the final day for candidates to contest or take their names out of the running. March 5 the Town Clerk s office will determine the order in which the names will appear on the ballot.

Nomination Papers for Elected Office Now Available in Adams
The Town of Adams announced on their Facebook page this week that nomination papers for town positions are now available at the Town Clerk’s office. These positions include a Hoosac Valley Regional School Committee seat, Town Clerk, Park Commissioner, Planning Board, Housing Authority, Park Commissioner and others.
According to the post, anyone interested in becoming a candidate to run for office must set up an appointment by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office to pick up nomination papers. All signatures must be in ink, no electronic signatures are allowed. Completed nomination papers must be returned to the Board of Registrars for certification by Monday, March 15
