VADODARA: A 33-year-old man was booked by the J P Road police on Thursday for forging Covid report to claim insurance money. The cops said that Nimesh Kumar Parmar has been sent for Covid-19 tests and if tested negative, he will be arrested.
According to the police, Parmar, a resident of Gotri, prepared a fake report in November last year claiming that he had tested positive for Coronavirus. “Parmar works in a hospital and does a lot of clerical work. So he was aware of how the Covid-19 test reports are made. He had a test report of Baroda Unipath laboratory,” said Shivraj Jasani, police sub-inspector who is investigating the case. ....
