Four including doc forge nCov report | Vadodara News

Vadodara: The Gotri police on Thursday booked four persons, including a doctor, for faking a Covid-19 report to claim insurance money.
This is the second such case of cheating booked in the city in last 10 days. The police said that it will verify all the documents and start investigations in the case.
Dr Bijal Shah, who runs a pathology lab in Chhani, told the police that on January 8, he got Covid positive reports of two persons namely Mitesh Prajapati and Jyotika Prajapati. When Shah checked the lab records, he found that the reports he gave for the accused duo in December last year were negative. ....

Man forges Covid test report for insurance claim, booked | Vadodara News

VADODARA: A 33-year-old man was booked by the J P Road police on Thursday for forging Covid report to claim insurance money. The cops said that Nimesh Kumar Parmar has been sent for Covid-19 tests and if tested negative, he will be arrested.
According to the police, Parmar, a resident of Gotri, prepared a fake report in November last year claiming that he had tested positive for Coronavirus. “Parmar works in a hospital and does a lot of clerical work. So he was aware of how the Covid-19 test reports are made. He had a test report of Baroda Unipath laboratory,” said Shivraj Jasani, police sub-inspector who is investigating the case. ....
