According to reports, 12 students of Cotton Collegiate Govt H.S School have tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. Meanwhile, the detection of COVID has created panic amongst the parents. Earlier this month, in view of the detection of COVID-19 positive cases in two schools of Guwahati the Kamrup Metropolitan District as a preventive measure, has asked the school authority to close the school.

The official notification reads- In view of the increased number of Covid-I 9 cases in Guwahati Metro). the ongoing UG SEMI Examination including 13A Liberal Arts arc hereby suspended from today (26.04.21) until further notification. The remaining Examination will be scheduled when the situation becomes, normal and will be notified in due course.
