Bolton no longer has the area with the highest infection rates in the country as hospital bosses say they are coping well with Covid-related admissions. The
M.E.N. understands there are now 42 people being treated for Covid-19 at the Farnworth hospital, which is not a significant increase on last week s figures.
Infection rates in Bolton are beginning to fall for the first time since cases in the borough spiked in April.
