Javid Adam A DRUG driver carrying more than £1,500 worth of cocaine and cannabis, led police on a high speed chase through Bolton. The Nightingale Court at the University of Bolton Stadium heard how 30-year-old ex-convict Javid Adam, driving a BMW, was pursued by police along Blackburn Road, Egerton, on the afternoon of April 20 last year, at 80mph. Adam, of Maplewood Gardens, Bolton, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of cocaine as well as having no licence or insurance. Alison Whalley, prosecuting, said: “He was overtaking vehicles that were going slower than him in an extremely dangerous manner.
