A frightened family watched on as drunk Coast man smashed a window to get into their home, a court has heard.
Police were called to a Noosa Heads home where Carlo Rizzuti was banging on the front door and yelling loudly at 3am on March 21.
“Occupants were fearful due to the actions of the male,” police prosecutor Alison Johnstone said. “He became agitated when no one would let him in he was told by the occupants he had the wrong address and to leave or police would be called.
“Upon hearing this … (Rizzuti) broke a window attempting to get into the premise.”
Noosa Magistrates Court heard the 29-year-old later obstructed police as they were trying to investigate. Sergeant Johnstone said Posser continually interrupted and spoke over the top of police and started recording them on his phone before he was arrested. Posser pleaded guilty in Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday to one count of public nuisance and obstructing police. Duty lawyer Natashia Blank said the father of two believed he was doing the right thing at the time. His friends were having an argument … the female said she was going to leave and proceeded to go to her car to do so, she said.

Police have charged three teenagers from Albany Creek, Logan Central and Kingston over the thefts of a number of vehicles on the Sunshine Coast.

Three Brisbane teenagers charged with stealing luxury cars on the Sunshine Coast have been denied bail, with police describing the chance of them reoffending as high .

Police also located a machete, two large knives and black gel blaster pistol within the vehicle. A struggle ensued before officers managed to handcuff the male. During the struggle a 35-year-old male officer was injured, breaking his shoulder. The 35-year-old Hervey Bay man was arrested on a number of offences including obstruct police, possess property suspected of use in the commission of a drug offences, possess a knife in a public place and possess property suspected of proceeds of a drug offence. He is due to appear in the Noosa Heads Magistrates Court on March 23. A brazen night time theft of a bright red moped from outside of the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is being investigated by police.
Acting Sergeant Sandy Atkinson said the stolen scooter is a 2013 Sang Yang Industries Jet 4R 50 with Queensland registration 225JI similar to the one pictured.
It was taken last Thursday This is similar make and colour to the moped taken from outside the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club.
Act Sgt Atkinson encouraged anyone who may have seen the moped to contact Queensland Police Service’s online suspicious activity form 24hrs per day at police.qld.gov.au/reporting using this reference number: QP2100046205.
