Gurugram : BML Munjal University (BMU) School of Law and Vahura, a leading legal search and consulting firm today announced the findings of a first of its kind study titled “Legal Curriculum Redesign for the Digital World” on July 1, 2021 at the annual law conclave hosted by BMU virtually. The study sets out to capture how legal education can better prepare young lawyers for the digital world in the rapidly transforming digital/legal environment in India. Commissioned by the BMU School of Law, the study informs the existing law schools that there is a pressing need to redesign their curricula in view of changes brought about by technology to the practice, and substantive nature of the law; and lays out how such redesigning should take place to tackle and navigate both these changes in an effective way. ....

Gurugram (Haryana) [India], June 3 (ANI/NewsVoir): BML Munjal University (BMU), a Hero Group initiative, announced the appointment of Dr Pritam Baruah as the Dean of School of Law.
Prior to this, he has served as Professor of Law at Jindal Global Law School in Sonipat, Haryana. He has researched and taught courses on Legal Philosophy and Constitutional Law at Jindal Global Law School.
Dr. Baruah is a seasoned academician and researcher with experience of more than 15 years. His recent work focuses on how constitutional courts employ moral values in decision-making, and the theory and practice of democracy. His doctoral work integrated insights from jurisprudence, cognitive science and philosophy of mind in thinking about constitutional adjudication. He holds degrees in law from NALSAR University of Law (BA.BL); University of Oxford (BCL, Felix Scholar); and University College London (Ph.D., C ....
