The executive director serves as the chair of the MPART and coordinates closely with various federal and state agencies on PFAS initiatives.)
How long have you worked at EGLE? And what is your background?
I have a Bachelor of Science in resource development from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State University. I started working at the then DNR - now EGLE, as a student in 1989 for the Act 307 Section scoring sites of environmental contamination. ....

HARFORD COUNTY, MD Two state roads are experiencing closures Thursday due to problems with utilities, according to Maryland highway officials.
A utility problem on MD 23/Norrisville Road closed a section of the road Thursday morning, and the work there was expected to last into the afternoon.
All lanes are closed on Route 23 west between Jarrettsville Pike and White Hall Road, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported after 10:45 a.m.

The utility issue would require about a two-hour closure, officials said. ....

TRAVERSE CITY, MI Do not keep people in the dark about potential exposure to harmful chemicals even if an investigation hasn’t provided all the answers yet.
That message was delivered to state officials by members of a citizen advisory panel, who sharply criticized the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) for waiting the eight months to tell homeowners about an investigation into private well contamination from toxic “forever chemicals” near the Traverse City airport. ....
