Five people were arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace during a far-right protest near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, police said Thursday evening.
Dozens gathered to protest the decision to postpone a march from there to the Temple Mount for fear that it could spark violence between Jews and Palestinians in the city.
Religious Zionist party MK Itamar Ben-Gvir joined the protesters, slamming the police for capitulating to terrorists and saying he won t give up.

Likud, which remains the largest party with a wide margin between it and the next party. Netanyahu, moreover, has been polled consistently as the most qualified to serve as prime minister. The Irony about the upcoming election is that it is more than likely to end up in another draw, and possibly a fifth election in two years.
