WASHINGTON, May 24, 2021 /PRNewswire/  The Center for Sustainable Health Care Quality and Equity (SHC), a division of the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF), today announced the expansion of its Demonstrating Real Improvement in Value and Equity (DRIVE) program to address racial and ethnic disparities surrounding COVID-19 among diverse and underserved communities. The COVID-19 DRIVE toolkit is intended to help primary care teams, health care systems, and community organizations improve health outcomes and vaccination rates as well as enhance quality performance.  
The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted communities of color due to embedded systemic factors. Black Americans are nearly twice as likely to die of COVID-19 and Latinos are three times as likely to be hospitalized, said Dr. Gary A. Puckrein, Ph.D., president and CEO of NMQF. Australian firm Nazz Investment buys vacant lots around Stark County


An Australian company now owns 30 vacant residential lots scattered around Stark County.
Nazz Investment Group USA LLC acquired the parcels in early February, according to information filed with the Stark County Auditor s office. All of the properties were purchased from Pilgrim NEO, another out-of-state business.
The total sale price for the 30 parcels came in at $42,526, records show.
According to county records, Pilgrim REO bought the properties in January 2015. The 30 parcels were among 51 that transferred to Pilgrim REO from CapCar Realty 1, according to paperwork filed with the Stark County Recorder s office. The filing shows Pilgrim REO and CapCar Realty 1 had the same address in Boston. ....

SECAUCUS, N.J., Jan. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire/ A new Quest Diagnostics Health Trends™ study finds that Black and Hispanic/Latinx Americans are nearly two times as likely as White Americans to say their access to COVID-19 vaccines, treatments and healthcare, once available, is worse than other racial/ethnic groups.
