The last four years have been fueled by political cutouts such as Trump, said co-owner Scott Paull. He had a following, and they wanted to own a Trump cutout. I think we have 10 different Trump cutouts, and now, the tides have turned. More than 100 Biden and Harris cutouts are ready to ship out for the day, and they will be delivered all over the country within the week. ....
The Wilkes-Barre Area School Board on Monday agreed to sell the Coughlin High School property for $1.65 million. City Mills LLC of Brooklyn, N.Y., is the buyer and plans to renovate the school building in downtown Wilkes-Barre for mixed residential and commercial uses, Solicitor Raymond Wendolowski said during a virtual board meeting. The sale is contingent on getting zoning approval and is not contingent on the company obtaining financing, Wendolowski said. Mendy Ginsberg is the developer affiliated with City Mills LLC, Wendolowski said. Ginsberg successfully converted five floors of the 14-story Citizens Bank building on West Market Street in downtown Wilkes-Barre into higher-end apartments. ....

As we move forward, here are the stories weâll be following in 2021: Schools Wilkes-Barre Area School District plans to merge its three highs schools â GAR, Meyers and Coughlin â after opening the new consolidated high school in Plains Twp. in August or September. The $121 million project began in April 2019 and was 71% complete in December. This yearâs graduating classes at GAR, Meyers and Coughlin will be the last. The district may sell the Coughlin property in downtown Wilkes-Barre and the Meyers property in South Wilkes-Barre in 2021. The district plans to use GAR as a middle school after merging the high schools. ....
