next fighter coming to Capcom’s flagship fighting game is Oro, who debuted in
Street Fighter 3 and will join the
SF5 roster this summer. He’ll look familiar to fans of the series, but one thing that differentiates Oro this time around is that he’s always carrying his pet turtle.
In the Street Fighter 3 games, Oro fought with one hand tied behind his back. Capcom explained that the old hermit intentionally restrained himself in street fights because he was so powerful. Despite being more than 130 years old, Oro “wields an unmeasurable amount of strength, [and] his movements are both powerful and unique,”

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is entering its sixth year, but Capcom appears to have many game-changing plans for the aging fighter. More characters are still being created, including a few that may be released sooner than anticipated revealed on a stream. These updates have been made available to the public on Tuesday, April 6.

According to ShackNews, Nakayama and Matsumoto elaborated on Rose further during the Street Fighter V Winter Update Livestream, referring to her V-Skills specifics.
V-Skill I is Soul Fortune, which is boosted by one of four different tarot cards. White and red cards will improve Rose s strength and V-Gauge. The green and purple cards act as projectiles that debuff their opponents on contact. Using Rose s V-Gauge, you will be able to determine what tarot cards are active. Street Fighter 5: Rose DLC Gets Release Date

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Spring Update revealed when fans can expect to see Rose added as the game s latest DLC fighter. The character will appear on April 19th! Rose marks the second DLC fighter to arrive in Season 5, following the release of Dan earlier this year. Season 5 will feature five new characters in total, including Oro and Akira Kazama from
Rival Schools. The final character has not yet been revealed. All five characters are available through the Character Pass ($24.99), or the Premium Pass ($39.99). Presumably, the character will also be available individually for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money.
And finally, here s Akira Kazama, who joins Street Fighter 5 as a guest character from Rival Schools. Akira has flashy air combos, and her older brother Daigo turns up as one of her V-Triggers. There s no release window for Akira yet.
One final season five DLC character is yet to be announced.

Everyone had their souls overloaded with new Rose information for Street Fighter 5 yesterday in the Spring Update stream, and there s quite a few details we didn t even catch our first time watching.
Capcom revealed one of Rose s alternate costumes to be a more traditional dress that many may have assumed was simply an updated version of the outfit from Street Fighter 4, but it goes back much further to the fortune teller s second appearance ever.
While it may not have stood out much at first, upon closer inspection, this dress is indeed the same as the one Rose is seen wearing in her ending to Street Fighter Alpha 2 s Arcade mode.
