Mary Kathleen âKathyâ Hamari NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Hamari, 74, of New Brighton, Minn., went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021, following recent health challenges. Kathy was born April 11, 1946, in Washington D.C., daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Mary (Moore) Kane. She was also preceded in death by her husband Al Hamari in June of 2020, to whom she was deeply devoted to and loved and to whom she married on Nov. 20, 1976. Kathy graduated from Our Lady of Peace High School in 1964 and St. Katherine’s University in 1968 in the Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minn. area with a major in speech and drama. After graduation, Kathy became involved in the local theatre “Theatre St. Paul” as well as doing volunteer work for the local public TV. ....
THE late father-of-one Alex Wilson (31) was determined by nature. Diagnosed with brain cancer in June, 2018, he determinedly fought his illness to marry the love his life, Jade, four months later. In November, 2020, when he was given just days to live, he was determined to keep fighting, and he celebrated one last Christmas with his son, Ryan, before his incurable illness eventually took him on February 10. He passed away peacefully at his parents home in Garvary, Enniskillen, surrounded by his loving family. Right up until the end, Alex stayed positive, giving his family the strength to deal with the inevitable. Alex s heartbroken wife, Jade, who bravely supported him throughout his two and a half year battle with cancer, said: He was always so positive. ....
Ralph Stewart Ralph “Pete” E. Stewart, age 88, of Gloversville, died December 10, 2020, surrounded by family. Pete was born November 10, 1932, on Court Street in Fonda, NY, at the home of his grandmother and great-grandfather. He was the second son of Donald M. and Marion “Esther” Stewart. Moving to Gloversville, at a young age, he attended Gloversville schools, graduating from GHS with the class of 1950, and participated in football, track and bowling. He went on to graduate from Cornell University in 1955 with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture and life sciences. He was inducted into the Alpha Gamma Rho Zeta Chapter of the National Agriculture Fraternity (AGR). ....
