SRINAGAR: At a time when people are confined within the four walls of their houses due to the prevailing Covid-19 lockdown, Psychiatric experts have severe apprehensions of people developing mental health issues.
Psychiatrists believe that people staying at home for days together with Covid trauma and without keeping themselves busy can have   repercussions on their mental health.
Dr Mohammad Maqbool Dar, Head of the Department (HoD), Psychiatry, Government Medical College Srinagar while delving into the topic says that the there has been subsequent increase in the number of cases related to psychiatric diseases among people ever since the successive lockdowns had to be imposed in the wake of corona virus outbreak. ....

Central government employees are not required to submit their boarding pass or ticket while claiming their TA. This comes as a huge relief for a government employee who has lost his Boarding Pass or ticket. Now, he or she will only have to submit a self-declaration form informing that he has travelled during a particular period. JAMMU, Jan 30: Distribution of staff of erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir between the newly constituted Union Territories will be completed by ending March this year keeping in view the immense difficulties being faced by Ladakh in managing several important positions particularly at the Head of the Department (HoD) level.
Official sources told EXCELSIOR that distribution of assets and liabilities of erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir between the two Union Territories has almost been completed as per the approval given by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
“However, the distribution of staff is still pending as a result of which the Union Territory of Ladakh is facing acute shortage of manpower at various levels”, sources informed, adding “till date only 19500 posts of various ranks have been given to the Ladakh UT but proper segregation of manpower has not been conducted by the UT o ....
