Cleveland Chamber Choir: Madrigals of All Times

Returning to making music together after the hiatus imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, CCC presents an pre-recorded concert. Drawing from a diverse collection of European and American composers from the sixteenth century to today, we contrast settings of the same poetry, composed centuries apart. Also featured on this program is music by Aleotti, Weelkes, Gibbons, Josquin, Bennet, Stainer, Lauridsen, Brahms, and Rindfleisch. Let the sounds of playful joy, parting grief, passion, and honor wash over you. ....
