R/GA has promoted Singapore MD Dorothy Peng (pictured right) and Shanghai MD Chow Sook Ping (pictured left) as VP, MD for their respective markets. With her work focusing on brand design, communications and experience design, aligned to the digital and social world, Peng will continue to lead innovation consulting, brand design and consulting, product design. She will continue reporting to EVP, managing director, of APAC, Tuomas Peltoniemi. 
R/GA said Peng demonstrated successful leadership through the pandemic while maintaining a remote working culture. Her promotion is in recognition of the office she has built over the past three years. According to the agency, she has delivered work for the likes of ComfortDelGro Zig, Prudential, Google and Samsung, and has been instrumental in driving thought leadership for the industry. ....

New Report Points to Lack of Brand Loyalty in Singapore

The Power of Brand Relationship Design, released today by R/GA Singapore, reveals a growing loyalty crisis in Singapore. Despite widespread recognition of digital services, a range of basic, psychological and human needs are failing to be met.
When compared with other Asia Pacific countries surveyed in the report, Singapore emerges top with the highest number of respondents (43%) saying their #1 personal goal is to be happy and they buy products to achieve that goal, and ranks second globally.
The report also pointed to the environment and sustainability as the most important cause area for people in Singapore, when it comes to causes they would like to see more brands and businesses supporting, scoring higher than ‘mental health’ and ‘physical health’. ....

Following news of its collaboration with K-pop band SuperM in January, Prudential has now unveiled a social media-focused campaign named We DO to bring consumers together through the medium of dance. The campaign kicks off with the launch of We DO , a new hit single and music video it created in partnership with SuperM. The single will be followed by an ongoing series of wellness activities such as dance challenges in collaboration with SuperM on social media channels.
Done in collaboration with R/GA Singapore, the campaign is launched regionally across Prudential’s Asian markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. The first challenge goes live on 10 April, and SuperM members will view shortlisted video submissions.  ....

Last week, ComfortDelGro officially launched its lifestyle app called Zig. Done in collaboration with digital agency R/GA, ComfortDelgro’s Zig is a mobile lifestyle platform that combines journey planning, transport booking and lifestyle discovery into an all-in-one mobile app.
According to Dorothy Peng, managing director, R/GA Singapore, the agency designed Zig based on “a consumer behaviour-centric approach and defined the opportunity areas for the business”. Zig was launched through a mobile app-first platform, and has been built upon a sustainable business model , said Peng. She also told 
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that the app was created after noticing a gap in the market in driving online to offline experiences - which she says, is something its competitor Grab currently doesn’t have. ....
