Shades of Aaron-Spelling’s heyday, even among those titles he did not produce, permeate almost every entry in the canon of televised scare fests. Despite the diversity– some muted and washed-out, some vibrant and lively, others adapted from seminal pieces of genre fiction– there’s something linking them all together. ....
