May 24, 2021 The Napa County Planning Commission recently approved the construction of a new 475,000-gallon winery on the Napa Valley floor in Rutherford. Frank Family Vineyards LLC proposed to build the future Benjamin Ranch Winery on an 81-acre site off Conn Creek Road in order to consolidate its wine production. The Frank family plans to continue to operate its winery on Larkmead Lane near Calistoga. About 5.1 acres of vineyards will have to be removed for the development of Benjamin Ranch Winery, which entails the construction of an 87,400 sq ft. winery/tasting room. An existing barn will be relocated to make room for the production facility. ....
