Sustainability is at the core of north-east business Origin Plastics, which is aiming to completely redefine the value and perception of waste plastic.
Incorporated in February 2019, Origin is the brainchild of three talented designers, all of which are working out of their testbed site on campus at Robert Gordon University.
Each member has had their own role in developing the inspiring brand, with Ben Durack acting as director of innovation, Scott Robertson as director of production, and Daniel Sutherland as director of commercialisation. ....

A bird of prey found dead in the Highlands was poisoned with a banned pesticide, police have said.
The red kite was found in the Ruthven area of the Monadhliath mountains, south of Inverness, in October.
Newly-released results from analysis show it had traces of an illegal pesticide in its body.
Police and RSPB Scotland carried out a search on Tuesday around the area where the bird was found. No other poisoned animals were detected.
Highlands and Islands wildlife crime liaison officer Daniel Sutherland said: This incident is sadly another example of where a bird of prey has been killed through ingestion of an illegally-held poison. ....

A red kite which was found dead in the Highlands was poisoned with a banned substance, police have said.
The bird was discovered in the Ruthven area in October and it has now been confirmed that traces of a prohibited pesticide were found in it.
Members of the public and any dog walkers have been urged to be cautious when in the area.
Wildlife crime Pc Daniel Sutherland said: “Traces of a banned pesticide have been detected in a red kite found in the area.
“This incident is sadly another example of where a bird of prey has been killed through ingestion of an illegally held poison. ....
