Harrison Neal Little, 30, pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence resulting in death and one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, according to Madison County District Attorney Bubba Bramlett.Little was sentenced by Judge Dewey Arthur to 20 years for each count, with those sentences running concurrently. On June 10, 2020, Betty Simmons, 58, was reportedly on her way to work at the Kroger on Highway 51 in Madison when she was rear-ended by Little. Madi ....

Bubba Bramlett Jr., district attorney for Madison and Rankin counties, announced Thursday that Michael Eugene Farmer, 45, will serve all of his time in prison. Farmer will also have to register as a sex offender and is ordered to have no contact with his victims. Richland police arrested Farmer in April 2019 after they received a complaint that Farmer was sexually assaulting a child. Police also found child pornography on Farmer s electronic devices with images of two separate children, including the victim, according to the release. ....
