Share IPS, a Greenville-based company that specializes in service, repair and engineering for electric motors, generators and rotating equipment, has purchased Delta Electric Motors and Eastside Electric Motors, according to a news release. Delta Electric, based in Tukwila, Wash., and Eastside Electric, in Spokane, Wash., are both full-service electrical apparatus companies. Luigi DiPietro founded Delta Electric in 1976, following a 14-year career with General Electric Co. The DiPietro family acquired Eastside Electric in 2002. DiPietro’s sons, Michael and Joseph DiPietro, lead Delta Electric and Eastside Electric and will continue in those roles with IPS. Together, these companies employ 48 people and serve customers in the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Montana and Idaho, as well as Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta.
