Community organizations continue their mission to reduce violence in Seattle

SEATTLE Sunday’s violence in Seattle comes days after Mayor Jenny Durkan laid out a plan to address gun violence, and adds frustration for those who have been fighting to help those caught in the cycle.
As Seattle police continued working their investigations into multiple shootings that left three dead and five injured, volunteers in Seattle s Central District Community continued their work as well, building relationships in the community to try and keep peace on the streets.
Former US Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld once quipped: “You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time.” Well, if Australia had to go to war with the Australian Public Service, we may as well surrender now.
