STATE FUNDING FOR RENTAL ASSISTANCE. THERE’S A NEW PLACE FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE IN SOUTH SACRAMENTO TO GET OUT OF THE COLD AND SLEEP INDOORS. THERE’S A NEW WARMING CENTER AT SACRAMENTO CAPITAL CITY 7TH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH. THIS IS A PARTNERSHIP. IN THE CITY AND THE CHURCH UP TO 35 PEOPLE CAN STAY HERE. THERE’S ALSO A SAFE PARKING AREA FOR ABOUT 15 CARS STEPS WILL BE TAKEN TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19. THERE WILL BE TEMPERATURE CHECKS TAKEN MASKS ARE REQUIRED EXCEPT WHEN EATING OR SLEEPING AND GUESTS WILL BE SPACED OUT AT LEAST SIX FEET.
