“I want to take this time to finally be able to thank everyone for their support, kind words, cards, and gifts that I received since my retirement announcement on March 2 nd and last day of working for the Corson County Sheriffs Office on March 12 th. On April 17 th there was an open house at the city hall in McIntosh where many people showed up for great conversation, cake, coffee, and drinks. I want to thank my wife, Heather Gall and the Corson County Sheriff’s Office staff for planning this awesome get together. During this time, I received a crystal plaque, and to my surprise, my duty gun, a Glock model 45 9mm (which involved a hiccup ). (Newswatch Group/Bill Kingston, File) CORNWALL – A co-owner of The Care Centre is facing additional charges in relation to tenants of the facility being allowed access to the building. The Cornwall Police Service says Dan Orr, 47, is facing charges of mischief, obstructing police, failing to attend the police station for fingerprints and breach of an undertaking. Police say a tenant had been prevented from entering her home and not allowed lawful use of her property on April 8. Orr had previously been charged with mischief in February, accused of interfering “with someone’s lawful enjoyment of their property.” ....

Cornwall, ON – Krista Grant, 32, and Mariah Major, 28, both of Cornwall were arrested on April 9 th, 2021 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle. Krista Grant was also charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80 and breach of release order for being outside of her residence with alcohol in her body. It is alleged on April 9 th, 2021, the women took a motor vehicle from someone known to them, without permission, and the driver, Krista Grant, was operating the motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
