20 BUCKS ALIENS GIVEN CITIZENSHIP — Forty-two applicants were declared not eligible by the examiner because they are alien enemies, having made their application for citizenship after the World War started. Naturalization was refused on the grounds that the United States was still in a state of war with the countries of which these applications are natives. These applications will receive attention when peace is declared.
JANUARY BRIDE CROP ONLY TOTALED UP 38 — Whether there is a shortage of romance in 1921 or whether the high cost of living has put the damper on Dan Cupid s marrying outfit, is not known, but there was a shortage of marriage licenses issued in Bucks for the first month of the New Year . Out of the 38 brides, 36 are going to help their husbands make-good, for every one of them has an occupation. It may seem a bit early to be thinking about spring, but now’s the time to apply for
The Park People‘s tree distribution program,
Denver Digs Trees. The annual program adds lots of green to city blocks by offering free and low-cost medium and large shade trees. All Denver residents are eligible to participate, regardless of where they live in the city. The cost is $35 per tree $10 if you live in one of the 28 targeted neighborhoods. Participants will rake in the savings, as the trees normally sell for $150. For 2021, only yard trees will be available; no street trees will be offered. For 75 years, Loveland, the nation’s Sweetheart City Loveland has been spreading love and joy across the world by re-mailing valentines with a special stamp and poem. Today, the Loveland Chamber of Commerce celebrates the program’s diamond anniversary by unveiling the 2021 stamp, valentine card and verse, and postmark.
“This is a very special year for Loveland and this amazing program.
