Todd Brandt says he is hoping “someone who knows something is ready to do the right thing.” Yankton, SD teenager Tammy Haas disappeared in 1992. Her body was later found at the bottom of a ravine in Cedar County, Nebraska. Nineteen-year-old Tammy Haas disappeared after attending Yankton’s homecoming and then going to a party on a farm just across the Nebraska border. Her case is among South Dakota’s most notorious unsolved mysteries. ....
The FBI and the Yankton Police Department are offering a reward for information on the death of a 19-year-old woman 30 years ago. Tammy Haas of Yankton was found dead in a ravine along a Nebraska highway in 1992 a few days after she went missing after attending a party in Crofton, Nebraska. She would have turned 48 on Tuesday. The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information in the case.
